2026 Lin-up
Meet Gabrielle, the author behind Moonlit Pages
My name is Gabrielle, and I'm so excited for the book club and to start reading local authors and some spooky stories!
I'm a local author as well! I grew up in Kingsville, and I live in Holden now! Warrensburg is the closest bigger town to us, and I love Moonlit Petrichor and the way Darby supports the community and EVERY person who walks in her door. For me, that's the biggest mark of a successful human: how accepting they are of everyone and how they always include and never exclude. Darby stands loud and proud on that stance in a world where it's not always profitable to do that, and I LOVE her for it!
I write across many genres, and I've written hundreds of books! 120 of them are on the site I write for, and 10 of them are on Amazon, and I have a lot more that aren't anywhere but my laptop or my filing cabinet, since they were written by hand!
I was told recently that successful authors stay in a single lane and write in a single genre that they become well known for, but that's not me. I'm wherever my twisted mind takes me, including Horror, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Post-Apocalyptic, Urban Fantasy, re-written fairytales, psychological thriller, contemporary romance, period romance, dark romance, and so much more! The only thing I don't write is Mystery. I do write a LOT of spice. The free site I write for is a spicy site! So if you're in the market for spice of any flavor, I can point you to something good. The ones I have on Amazon, most are spicy, and one is Epic Fantasy! I am about to release another one, hopefully this year, then 2026 is going to be for my enormous YA Urban Fantasy series! I'm 10 books in out of 12!
I'm excited to meet everyone and kick off the first year of the Spooky Book Club and local supporting local!
It's lovely to meet you all!

Maddison Chase
Madison Chase is the joint pen name of longtime writing partners Melissa A. Graham and Chelsea L. Belland. Their creative journey began in 2008 with forum-based roleplay, where their shared love for storytelling quickly grew into a collaborative passion. Over the years, they’ve crafted immersive, character-driven narratives rich with intricate world-building and emotional depth. Bound by their Pagan beliefs, a fascination with mythological figures, and a slightly sadistic joy in pushing their characters to the brink, Melissa and Chelsea breathe life into stories filled with complex family dynamics, unexpected romance, and richly developed worlds—and sometimes, those stories mirror their own. Together, they are Madison Chase: two minds, one voice, endless possibilities.
They are also both members of the Polyamory, Pagan, BDSM, LGBTG+ community.
Junes featured author.
M. D. Wiselln
M. D. Wiselln was born and raised in Ohio. He is not, so far as he knows, actually a werewolf, though he does go online and pretend to be one every now and then. He's been involved in chatroom-based roleplaying since the late 1990s and still spends plenty of late nights doing so. The Law of Teeth universe was inspired by the characters he's played and the stories they've woven across the years. When not writing, roleplaying, or thinking about writing or roleplaying, he enjoys going to the movies and musical theater. He's a computer programmer by trade and works for a major U.S. bank at his day job. He now lives in Kansas with his amazing wife (whom he actually met in one such chatroom), his son, and several cats.
